I hope you’ve all had a wonderful summer! For those of you with little ones, I’m sure the next few weeks will be a whirlwind of back-to-school prep and getting back into routine.
It’s been a busy time for us too. As many of you know, Friday was Ella’s last day with us after 10 years. We celebrated with a lovely meal, took our last team photo together, and gave her a few gifts to wish her well in her next chapter. She will be truly missed, but we are so proud of everything she has achieved.
Now for some exciting news — I’m thrilled to introduce Emma, who will be joining our team on Thursday 25th September. Emma brings with her over 9 years of salon experience, working on the Broadway, Haywards Heath. Sadly, her previous salon is closing after many years in business.
Emma is a talented stylist who really shines in colour work. At 26, she brings a wealth of experience and has a warm, friendly personality that I know you’ll love. Her diary is now open on our online booking system, so if you’d like to be among the first to sit in Emma’s chair, be sure to book in soon.
To get acquainted with our Wella colour brand (as she’s previously worked with Redken), Emma will also be attending a 2-day course at the Wella Academy in London on Monday 29th & Tuesday 30th September. She’s so excited to join our team, continue her development, and grow her career with us.
As many of you know, ongoing education is a huge priority for me. Being an employed salon means I can make sure every stylist receives regular training — we send our team on courses every year, and we also welcome Wella educators into the salon twice a year. This investment in development is something we really treasure, and I believe sets us apart and helps us deliver the very best for you, our clients.
