We won Best Salon Team at the Sussex Salon Awards!I had only just finished writing my blog about receiving the Phorest Client Experience Award when we were bowled over by winning Best Salon Team at the Sussex Salon Awards!
This is great news for the girls and me and follows on from our win last year of the Muddy Stilettos Best Salon Award.
The annual Sussex Salon Awards 2019, which “seek and reward remarkable hair professionals for individual, business and team accomplishment”, took place at the Grand hotel in Brighton, co-hosted by the awards director Kate Jeffery and Errol Douglas MBE (middle of the picture), one of the most influential hairdressers in the world.
The Samantha Elizabeth team works really hard to be the best we can be as hairdressers, learning from one another, constantly training and keeping up-to-date on developments in hairdressing.
As a team and as individuals we are always looking to give the very best service to every client who walks through the salon door. We want our clients to leave the salon feeling fabulous about their hair. That’s what we love about our job.
But what also makes a job great is the people you work with. We work hard – we’re a successful salon and you only get that by working hard – but we also laugh and joke and have fun.
So to have all of that recognised by winning this award as a team is fantastic. Only some of the girls were able to go with me to the awards ceremony – and we did let our hair down a bit in celebration as you can probably see that from the winners group photo, we’re middle to top left, Lois is holding the trophy! – but this is an award won by all of us.
