Well, we’ve been back in the salon for just over three months now. The time has flown and it’s been an interesting time, to say the least.
We had a lot of work to do to get the salon ready so we could welcome clients back in and there has been a lot of hard work put in to see as many of you as possible over the past few weeks.
There was a lot to get used to – it took a while for us to get used to wearing visors and face masks while working – it’s not the best gear for a good natter with you while we’re working!
The girls have responded very well to it all and I am very proud of them. We’re trying our hardest to give you the best service we can in the circumstances.
And with everything that has been going on, I wanted to give a shout out to you, our clients, for your patience and helping us to follow the government’s rules about the number of people we can have in the salon, mask wearing and all the other restrictions – like not being able to give you tea and coffee! A BIG thank you to you all. I’m delighted to say 2 weeks the guidelines changed we can now serve you hot and cold drinks in our disposable cups.
Let’s hope with everyone’s help around the country we can get this horrible virus under control and we can get back to running a full salon without all the protective gear as soon as possible.
On another note, we’ve just posted on Instagram photos of a lovely soft balayage, created by our apprentice Louise. Louise is due to take her final exam in October so hopefully we will be welcoming her on to the floor at Samantha Elizabeth in the near future.
