Spring has arrived!

Anticipation for Spring has arrived - the longer, milder, brighter days are ahead and we want to ensure that you're looking and feeling your most fabulous.

March is a month to celebrate the amazing women in our lives with Mother's Day fast approaching and International Women's Day on the 8th of March.

March also brings a special birthday in our salon, with our Louise turning 21. Louise has been with my salon since she was 16 and has flourished into a beautiful, talented young lady.

Ella is getting excited to go on her first adventure to Bali. Her last working day is Saturday 8th April, and she is returning to work on Friday 5th May.

Her second adventure to Australia, the dates have slightly changed. Her last working day will be Saturday 12th August, returning to work on Friday 15th September.

Laura, our stylist, decided to return to a slightly slower paced salon and she left the salon on Friday 17th February 2023.

We are advertising for a Senior Stylist to help us!

Chelsea, our advanced stylist, is still hopeful to return, but unfortunately, we are still no clearer on her return date. But this is a long road for her and her family.

Chelsea-Jade, Louise and Cydney went to London in January to the Wella studio on individual colour courses. Education is so important.

Travis is running a column on Friday mornings, 9am- 1pm with myself, building his speed, and going from strength to strength. We are hoping he will be on the salon floor with us by June/July. He is getting nervous excited for his end point assessment.

We are on the lookout for clients with short hair and bob hair cuts, on FRIDAY MORNINGS. Samantha will be training Travis on these hair cuts. There will be a £10 charge.

Cydney trains on Tuesdays afternoons 1pm- 5pm - we are looking for root tints and blowdrys.

Please call the salon 01444 459009 if you are interested (a stylist will be working with them).

Treat Mum like a queen this Mother's Day!

If you're looking for a special gift for your mum, why not give the gift of amazing hair with a gift voucher from Samantha Elizabeth Hair Salon.

We promise to spoil her for you.

Due to the rising costs of our suppliers and utility providers, and continuing to pay my staff above minimum wage, unfortunately it's necessary for us to raise the prices for our services.

We have held off increasing our prices as long as we possibly could. But like everyone, our energy prices have gone up in cost, alongside the cost of our professional products and materials we use to provide the quality services you have come to expect from us.

All my staff our employed, which comes with employers costs. For a small independent business, it's tough, but I'm determined to stay as an employed salon. I believe it means we give a better service to our clients, and it's why we are multi-award winning. And I love growing young professionals into the industry.

Our graduate stylist price is back, in readiness for Travis to come on the floor. All his work will be checked by myself or a member of my team.

To all the women who have positively impacted on the lives of fellow women, encouraged and lifted up another woman, may you continue to be fierce, bold and daring.

Happy International Women's Day to all of our clients!

We look forward to seeing you soon,

keep smiling

with love
